We love babysitters....

I may have mentioned this, but I snared a fantastic babysitter at a local shoe store. How you ask? I just asked an extremely pleasant, mature, friendly teenager shopping with her mother if she babysits. This may sound desperate. It just so happens that her mother is a parent at our kids' school - her younger brother is in Year 5. The girl is just starting up her babysitting career, but has had quite a bit of experience with cousins. We had her over for one 2-hour mid-morning session while we went to the nearby gym to test things out. The kids had a great time, so the other night we went out "for real" - first a drink outdoors at the pub on the river, then off to have some curry. YAY for babysitters!
